To be fair, we're *depending* on Biden to be the champion of the case against Trump, because, for whatever reason, a huge portion of the country doesn't get it yet. And Biden didn't do it.
This notion that everybody is decided is just plain wrong. I know a lot of really good people who are at the very least Trump leaning. They are not very engaged with the media. They exist in social spaces that are conservative. We *need* a candidate who can reach these people in small windows.
My wife's uncle is one of the kindest, most selfless people I know and is probably a Trump supporter. I've spent a lot of time trying to reconcile that in my mind.
The NYT (& WaPo, NBC/Comcast, ABC, CNN, FOX, Sinclair, etc.) poisons the well against Biden (as done against Hillary Clinton, Obama, Bill Clinton) by hyper focusing on anything negative about Democrats and ignoring anything real about Republicans.
It’s a form of ad hominem/poison well attack.
