A week ago we revealed the cover for the @GSFWC upcoming anthology. So today, by way of a reminder, I thought I'd have an indulgent ramble about why I volunteered to do it and why it's not about me. #Gallus #Worldcon munchkinstein.co.uk/index.php/20...

Don't know who would benefit from this information (though I'm definitely tagging @halduncan.bsky.social because spicy things) but Lupe Pintos on GWR is stocking nduja now. First outing was with cod, beans and rainbow chard and it were lush.

The very best book I read last year. All the things here are true, and should be attended to.
‘This is especially true of one late-in-the-novel experience of Justin being lost in Seoul’s Gimpo Intl. Airport. This episode is among the most striking in the book, and also one of the most fantastical, as space, time, and logic seems to collapse around Priest’s protagonist.’ Val’s super review 👇
THIRTEEN WAYS OF LOOKING AT AIRSIDE BY CHRISTOPHER PRIEST: Val Nolan on the genre-defying literary maestro’s final novel // IZ Digitalinterzone.digital ‘There are no aliens or portals here; there is, perhaps, a time/space slippage, but the reality of that is up to each reader to decide. A speculative audience will hum along to the book’s eerie tune.’...

This is such a fun book!
I just finished this novella (Unexploded Remnants by @theelaineg.bsky.social) about a space archaeologist who finds an ancient superweapon and it was so much fun! The worldbuilding reminded me a lot of Becky Chambers. I'd love to real a big doorstop set in this universe.
