I have, and it worked.

Most of the ones I'm getting lately have an option to respond Stop. Which I have. I still get some, but not at the same rate as before doing that.

I’ve replied STOP to many but the volume is unabated.

I reply STOP then block and report spam. I just get another message from a different number a day or two later.

That's the problem, it's always a diff number.

My phone service has been flagging those texts as spam.

I'm never even actually sure if it's officially related to the political figure or if it's just scam spam. It would be a good grift to spam texts pretending to be politician in need of donations. I can't see anything in the texts that verifies identity.
