I wish that one could reply "Fuck off" to one of the dozens of texts I get each week of, "Hi, this is [Political Figure Who Is Definitely Not Actually Texting], and the stakes have never been higher give us money" and said texts would ACTUALLY fuck off.

Most of the ones I'm getting lately have an option to respond Stop. Which I have. I still get some, but not at the same rate as before doing that.

I reply STOP then block and report spam. I just get another message from a different number a day or two later.
