Given everything (especially Project 2025, which seems to be an evolutionary step policy-wise for his people), what exactly is preferable about a cogent Trump (as he is, not as he’s imagined) to a vegetative Biden? What’s the case for undecided voters if he stays in?
There are two types of "undecideds" that mystify me. 1) "Trump wasn't THAT bad." and 2) "The Dems will learn their lesson THIS time." Both of those sound like a gamble at best and misguided at worst. Hopefully, too many of these folks aren't in the states that matter.
I assume they think that as an alert person, he would be able to instantly retaliate if we are attacked, while a vegetative guy might not be able to understand what's happening fast enough to respond in time to save us. Only POTUS can order nuclear strikes, and we need a credible deterrent.
