As I mentioned on @thebigstory.bsky.social podcast, the MMR vaccine and its like are great social levelers. Absent vaccines, the poor were far more likely to catch & die from diseases like measles. Vaccination made safe immunity available to rich and poor alike. thebigstorypodcast.ca/2024/03/21/m...

This affects more than just criminal cases. I'm a civil trial lawyer. I routinely can't get a day with a judge for a motion for up to 18 months. It's a nightmare for anyone who must access the system.
