No one in the GOP, that is.
Because the ONE thing the GOP has going for it that's perversely admirable is their closed ranks.
THEY don't run around SQUAWKING to every fucking media outlet the minute one of their own shows weakness, shrieking that he should step down...
THEY CLOSE FUCKING RANKS.
I despise the GOP with every fibre of my being...
But when it comes to party discipline and messaging, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, I wish the goddamned Democrats would take a goddamned fucking page from their book.
We gotta come up with phrases like : if we don’t fight them there we will be fighting them here.
also every thing we don’t like them saying like : joe is too old
We respond with completely different unrelated item like : Trump gave hand job to Putin.
Huge mistake, the two party fuckup.
NO way to get around them? Goddamn.
"We need a way to allow other parties a way into the system."
"Okay. Who do we see about that?"
"The two parties in power."
"FUCK."
Agreed! We should be mustering around him in mass numbers, pushing back aggressively against the dirty tricks they are using AGAIN just like they did to Hillary and Obama! How many times do we need to see this before we DOMINATE them??
The Democrats have ALWAYS played checkers while the reTHUGlicans play 3D Chess on multiple boards and stay on code with their messaging
Democrats couldn't message giving out umbrellas during a rain shower or donuts to a police station💯💯💯
He's the motherfucker who put three right-wing chowderheads with questionable qualifications/morals on the Supreme Court. It's a reasonable power comparsion, as the Supreme Court is currently who's neutralizing our democracy.
You do realize that Obama & Dems let that happen by clinging to the filabuster & allowing McConnell to do what he did, RBG refusing to retire, and HRC losing to a racist game show host? Now Biden's ignoring the base, didn't allow a real primary & he's pretending we can't see dementia. Dems did this.
Help *me* comprehend the reasoning. There is an unfortunately binary choice coming up. The other option is literally going to burn the country to the ground and we know he aint' kidding. I am unhappy that he's our choice, but I am now in COMMIT mode, because this is a road with no turns.
my argument is, the press has been VERY filtery-y and unfair with the candidate, that we all just spent months voting for in a primary, and it's too late and all those voters won't be happy if we hit the override switch. so, I'm going to defend my guy because that's the option I've got.
That's fair, but keeping pressure on him in an effort to get him to face reality and step aside is the best option for those of us doing activism & voter outreach, as people don't want Biden. Fact is he'll drag down the party & give the senate to fascists too, if he stays in the race.
We all knew Mitch was a puppet anyways. Third in line is less scary. If we have to have a corpse in government, they should be further down the chain of command than the absolute tippy top.
That's because repubs need all the warm bodies they can get. Furthermore Moscow Mitch isn't the current president of the United States. ALSO the whole conversation around gerentocracy in America started when Mitch had his flashback so you're whole post is a false pretense.
