This will go all the way to the Supreme Court; Clarence Thomas suggested in his immunity decision that they might decide that a special counsel has to have Congressional approval, agreeing with Cannon. Nothing will happen before the election. Of course if Trump wins it's all moot.

😢 I know they'll appeal it. But it still won't get to court til well after the election. And if he wins by any chance, he will have everything thrown out.
