Today the once-respected local newspaper ran an article (not on the opinion page, but in political news) by its top editor about how I'm not a real journalist. Full of inaccuracies and outright falsehoods, it argues that I gave up my right to be a journalist when I helped my wife with her career.

For 20 years, a group of neighbors got together every Wednesday night for dinner. Usually a potluck, occasionally at a restaurant. Then, four years ago, our weekly family dinners came to an end. We're still getting back to a regular schedule. Tonight we celebrated the 24th anniversary.

Spent my morning with nine puppies at beagle meetup how’s your day going

🌱🍽️ My first bronze beauty lettuce harvest was used in today’s lunch salad. In the past lettuce has died due to neglect. The pollinator garden has made me a more attentive gardener!

Jelly rocked her first official “council-pupper” event at Vila Brothers Park. She met other dogs nicely in the dog park and happily took scratches from her mom’s constituents. We’re so proud of her!
