It's abundantly clear that Republicans are terrified of facing literally anyone but Biden.

All the fantasy football scenarios in which Biden is replaced have ignored or hand-waved all the ballot access questions. Every hostile GOP state legislature is going to pounce on it with the rule book (real and imagined) in hand.

But it was my understanding that individual states couldn't decide who was on their presidential ballot, because reasons

TBH I think it’s more that their orientation is maximum fuckery and continuing to let Dems flail. If they can knock a state out of contention, it’s a bonus.

This is how I saw it, as well.

How could this be about "replacing" Biden when he hasn't been nominated yet? (But if the stakes weren't so high, I'd chuckle at the Democrats getting hurt by the laws they've supported to keep third parties off the ballot.)
