Finally got around to watching Ultraman Rising Good watch an a beautiful looking movie, @justinquizon.bsky.social thanks for mentioning this movie a week or two back, otherwise I'd never have checked it out

Rewatching Oceans 11…and man do I LOVE this movie.

The first episode of Season 3 of #TheBear took my breath away. From top to bottom, just masterful editing and writing. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the episodes.

Saw #The People’s Joker last night and what a wild film. Deeply personal coming of age story with a confident visual style(s) that is endlessly engaging. I really loved it. This will be a hard film to get out of my head for a while.

I don’t talk enough about the movie ONCE. One of my favorite movies of all time. One of the best movies soundtracks. Incredibly moving performances from the leads. A movie thats shot digitally but who cares because the storytelling is brilliant.

I’m that sad 90’s kid that wants a reissue of Darkhawk.

FUCK IT, I’m gonna have my own Harold and Kumar go to White Castle party to honor its 20th anniversary. We’ll watch the movie, everyone bring their own homemade sliders, and buy a bunch of frozen White Castle sliders because I’m in the west coast.

Highly recommend #ultramanrising . You do NOT need to know ANYTHING about Ultraman to enjoy the film !! If you love movies like Into the Spider-Verse and The Incredibles you’ll absolutely enjoy this.

Random thought: I wish Tom Hiddleston and Guillermo Del Toro would team up again. They were a perfect fit when they did Crimson Peak. Truly thought they vibed together as actor and director.

Been watching The Brothers Sun and American Born Chinese back to back. It’s been a fun seeing Michelle Yeoh be GREAT in both shows. Her range is incredible. There’s a reason she’s the GOAT.

Being at Magic Kingdom last week, I went to check out the Tron Lightcycle coaster. I didn’t get to ride it, but the gift shop was incredible. It’s a huge reminder of how much I love the aesthetics of both Tron movies. I LOVE the Daft Punk score, I just wish I loved the movies.

Dementia is a horrible disease and I empathize with anyone who taking care of a loved one who has it. It’s beyond hard, and trust me that I understand how difficult it is. Try to take care of yourself and just keep reminding yourself that they still love you.

I know the flaws of this film. The third act is problematic. I know the film is SUPER wrong about comic book culture and the art form. But sometimes your love for a movie is too personal. UNBREAKABLE is a movie I love unconditionally.

I miss going to the comic shop that my friends worked at. It was MY shop for over 10 years. I miss having a regular shop. I miss the community. I miss knowing almost every week my friends will be there. Miss being around new comics every week.

One of the most stress-inducing episodes to one of the most enduring and inspirational episodes of television. Episodes 6 and 7 of #TheBear are remarkable in completely different ways.
