Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them.
I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.
Before anyone mistakes this for a defense of Millennial fashion trends, it is not.
It's a defense of dressing like shit and not giving a crap.
Just wear whatever and mind your own business. Who cares?
There comes a time when how you feel becomes so much more important than what random strangers think about how you look. The sooner you reach this point the happier your life will be.
As a lover of Hawaiian shirts, the far right getting into them for a bit made me nervous (though mine are Indonesian batik so I wasn't that worried yet), because I REALLY don't want to be associated with their ilk.
