Here is mine:
Sand Castle
The tide creeps up slowly,
then all at once
its lapping at the walls,
grit dissolving in salty waves.
You pull your pail to you, grab for
the shiniest shells on the topmost towers
before it falls. You are left there
clutching pail shells of what once was.
