The thing about Tractor Supply is that it's recent growth is driven almost entirely by chicken sales, to the tune of 11 million chickens a quarter. Chickens, famously, are pretty good at making more chickens. Lowes, which has a pretty good DEI record, now sells chicken feed and supplies.

Tractor Supply doesn't really survive as a suburban lifestyle brand. It needs chicken people. And chicken people are overwhelmingly delightful weirdos.
Can vouch for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law as certified crunchy-granola chicken-loving unofficially-organic U-Pick-Farming flower-crown-wearing hippies. Most of their chickens die from old age, or the occasional racoon raid.
And yes, they are not happy about TSC
