I’m still working on that huge chimera falin sculpture but figuring optimal joint placement and print orientation and settings is half the battle with big 3D prints
I made some poster and 3D model sales on Twitter recently but I think I’m coming to the conclusion it’s really not worth the trouble promoting there when the vibes are as bad as they currently are
0.25mm nozzle, 0.08mm layer height. Sanding, bondo, more sanding for some of the rougher areas. Airbrush for the big areas and hand painting for details
It's a completely custom build. I designed the case and made keycaps to fit on 6mm button switches. I printed legends on waterslide decal paper and applied them by hand to every single keycap. The firmware is a custom branch of umbynos's sick68 keymap, which was flashed to an Elite-C microcontroller
A few years ago I made a miniature mechanical keyboard. It was my very first hand-wired custom firmware board and I'm still extremely happy with how it turned out.
I imagine it’s some combination of widespread knowledge of how youtube and insta revenue works + normalization of extremely unsustainable cheap-for-consumer silicon valley businesses that have taken over basically every aspect of life
