Neil Frisk is one of our MAGA Republican state lawmakers here in Michigan. Last night he solicited a local stripper and brought her home where they had a fight and he fired a gun at her. Friske campaign said he is "always exercising his 2nd Amendment right." www.fox2detroit.com/news/michiga...

Can't imagine why anyone would be conducting a poll in a critical swing state during a presidential election year. Very suspicious! /s I belive the arrest was timed to align with his (allegedly) firing a gun at a sex worker. Take some personal responsibility Neil!

So she wasn't a "stripper" she was "conducting polling?" With his voting record and his recent escapades, one would think it would be easy to overcome his incumbency this time ...

It may be too late for the primary, but the door is open wide.

If what I read is correct, if your name is to be on the ballot, you need to file for a verification process in April. There is an official write-in process one can complete by July.

His name is already set to appear on the August Michigan GOP primary ballot mvic.sos.state.mi.us/PublicBallot...

It will be interesting to see where this falls out for Michigan: Do the Republican primary voters see this as a bug or a feature? It seems that as a party, they some are beginning to push back against the chaos culture, but it is inconsistent. If I am not mistaken, they are bankrupt.

MI GOP primary voters will absolutely eat this crap up, not a doubt in my mind. The state party was broke under Karamo. More traditional Republicans wrested control of the party back and are trying to rebuild, but there's a rump diehard maga faction still out there fighting for power.

My kids were school & play mates with the children of the exec director of the Republican Party for our state. Not a politician but an administration guy. He left in 2010 after the Tea Party movement started Said he could not work with those idiots; they were going to bankrupt the organization

Hopefully. Lot of money still out there though that can just bypass the state parties.

That’s exactly what is happening. Like moths to a flame they are drawn to the high profile races. The issue here is the state infrastructure is very useful for the parties …. So in the long run, it fails.
