Besides filling up the marshes, the June rains also brought out a lot of insects! We might not like the mosquitoes, but a lot of birds sure do! This barn swallow, along with some of its friends, was swooping around the marsh looking for bugs!🪶

A willie wagtail in the Clare Valley. These gutsy birds are everywhere (even in the harshest environments) and they have no fear. They come up to me and get in my face to see what I'm doing. And they'll torment huge birds of prey. Love em. Archive shot. 🪶 #birds
