I am developing a fascination with political merchandising. Like Etsy sellers ready to go for VP announcements with designs.

This foster cutie leaves me tomorrow. I’ll be sad but so happy that she will find her new family and grow up to be the best dog (and out of the puppy teething stage)!
Avatar
Well, seems like a good time to take the foster puppy on a walk.

Blossom’s ABCs: Always be chewing.

Our foster Blossom will be available through a rescue somewhere outside of Texas next month (don’t know where yet - usually they go somewhere in the north east). She’s a cutie.

Our second foster Blossom will be heading out of Texas next month to be adopted and I’m writing her bio tonight to help find her future home. Need to find a way to say: “Adorable, playful, beware of puppy teeth.”

Puppies are made to be adorable so you overlook their bad behavior.

I have a mandatory hour and half zoom meeting, which is practically a guarantee this foster puppy will get the zoomies.

I have an experiment on qualtrics with a news article where I want to do a pull quote like this. Every time and way I try to do this with the html it breaks. Does anyone have any example code?

Good morning from Blossom, the adorable foster puppy who slept through the night in her crate like a pro.

Blossom the foster puppy is hanging out with us for a little bit before she goes on transport out of Texas to be adopted next month!

Her ears and eyes are the cutest. I can’t believe she’s been in the shelter for three weeks and not adopted! She’s about 3 months old.

I wrote Hoover’s new family a three page letter about him and printed 20 photos off - and am packing up a care bag to travel with him. He leaves me at 2:30. 🥹 Last morning walk together.
Avatar
Of course there’s a sheriff involved.
Avatar
Hoover’s last full day with me. About to go cry during our daily three mile morning walk. Only cheered up by the fact Hoover has a family waiting to love him and that I’m getting a foster puppy on Wednesday.

This is Promise, available through Fort Worth animal shelter. Promise says stop doom scrolling political news.

I don’t have anything to add about this current political moment - and neither do you probably - but we can boost this sweet puppy available for adoption in Fort Worth.
My neighbor is fostering Blossom - what a cutie! She’s dog and kid friendly! Available for adoption from Fort Worth animal shelter.

Somebody please adopt this sweet girl!

Should I make a photo book for Hoover’s new family?

I got to save this cute little one (Cowgirl!) with just a ride out of the shelter to a new home. She’ll be heading out of Texas next month.

Walked before the sun was up to try to avoid the heat today and got rewarded by a beautiful sunrise over the bricks.

Tonight’s sky was remarkable.

Somehow any research project in urban politics always comes back to Dahl and me reading 1960’s scholarship.

I was feeling better about Hoover leaving to go thousands of miles way up north because it’ll be cooler up there but thanks to climate change or something - it is the exact same temperature there as it is here.

Hoover’s last week in Texas includes a trip this morning to Fort Worth’s own Lake Como. Como used to have its own fancy trolley park back in the day, but it fell into serious decline. The city recently added this water walkway across the park.

My foster Hoover leaves Texas next week to go up north to a new home, and I am going to miss him. But I am also glad we got to save him from the code red list for a better future. I really hope his new family sends pictures!
