Whenever people say "future historians will have a lot to write about our current times" I always think it's bold to assume there will be a future let alone historians

it also imagines that historians do not always have a lot to write about whatever time most people would probably be pissed at what events future historians will probably focus on vs others, what makes it into the archive vs is erased etc.

One of my favourite little details I found researching my book is an exchange between Einstein and French philosopher Léon Brunschvig in 1922 which provides an absolute masterclass in how to avoid a question you don't know how to/don't want to answer
