Calvin’s dad was a damned hero You can just be Hobbes too As a fellow Imaginary, I can tell you that Hobbes' life is rewarding...but does have some challenges. I was born Calvin's dad, then I had a stroke and became Calvin I think I'd rather be Hobbes. Yeah, I'm never going to ride my bike in the sleet for *fun.* I also don't like his policy of making up ridiculous stuff to tell to children as if they were facts. Some of us are Hobbes our whole lives through. My kids decided my superhero name is Exasperated Man. Definitely Calvin’s dad.
