Spent an lovely evening with Ilene at the AAAS reception for new fellows. I surprised myself by having a good time walking up to random strangers and finding common interests.
A friend just forwarded this picture of me talking (and talking) at our most recent peer review workshop at the summer AAS meeting. This was an extremely rewarding event for me, and apparently for the attendees. We're going to hold these regularly (and thanks to Frank Timmes for organizing).
