If you every doubt the existence of patriotism in America, go to a citizenship swearing-in ceremony. Mine was in a courthouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. went to my mother-in-law's this winter. It was in the original Peabody Hotel, built in 1869. So many countries represented.
