I put in someone's Bluesky link and it redirects to bsky.app. If you are saying there are "ways around that", that's not how these people can build audiences, or bring over their existing followers, especially those that hard-stopped posting elsewhere.

I'd argue the problem is still audience building. Bluesky is still a walled garden. Can't even view profiles or feeds without an account. So how do you spread news behind a club wall? You can't. Bluesky should have a read-only mode for people that aren't permitted inside, at the very least.

There are tons of tools and ways to view everything on BlueSky without an account. Every single thing here is public.
