When I was in middle school I used to graph different equations to try to see if the visual differences between them could somehow lead to insight. I didn't get to derivatives until I took calc as an adult in college. Math makes cool art and can help encourage an interest in STEM.
I would like to propose a new area of visual and performance studies called “mathematical aesthetics” where can freely study the vibes of numbers without all the proofs of math killing the mood
