The institution of white supremacy exists across the political spectrum; it might be "stronger" in the right-wing but it guides a lot of white leftism, as well.
The most powerful column of white supremacy is probably white privilege. Equity and inclusion policies always have to break through the idea that expanding resources to under-privileged groups somehow lessens the benefits of those who possess the privilege.
I seems to me that the 2 questions kind of getting lost in the shuffle are 1) are the plagiarism allegations true, and 2) if so, what are the established disciplinary procedures? If the allegations were false she should not have resigned.
