The 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade shot down a Russian Su-25 in the Donetsk region - OSUV "Khortytsia". The enemy plane was shot down in the Pokrovsky direction. It was attacking the positions of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

This downplays the peril of Trump 2. One difference between 1930s Dixie and Trump 2024 is we did not have a fascist president in the 1930s, and presidents in the 1930s did not have SCOTUS permission to commit crimes like Trump. Trumps agenda is 1000X worse than (awful) Jim Crow south.

This is particularly important to understand because Trumpist authoritarianism is the descendent of Jim Crow far more than say Hitler or Pinochet or Orban, and it's going to look a lot more like 1930s Mississippi than 1930s Berlin.
