Soviet Anthem: annoyingly awesome

The Soviet Anthem blows 99% of the other countries out of the water without even trying

“Stalin taught us to be faithful to the people?” The thousands of dead under his iron rule would disagree but…dead. Or do you mean Russia. Same tune. Really dull words.

Nothing the USSR did or didn't do changes the fact that their anthem was (and is) a terrific piece of music

So the music. Because anthems are songs. And should be judged that way.

And yet all my brain has in it is ‘Star Spangled Banger’. Is that something?

Advance Australia Fair is pretty good. It does ignore indigenous people, but so goes O Canada, really.
