Here's what the sky was doing while it was painting the world purple

After an afternoon of thunderstorms the sky turned some wild colors this evening. The whole world was tinted this plum color for a short time, though it was very hard to capture.

Amazing light.

It was remarkable!

Those are truly incredible and very unusual colors to see in the sky.

The clouds were doing all sorts of things, going in different directions! It was very exciting

And like 10 minutes before everything was orange! I looked out my window and thought I was on Mars. But I couldn't really capture the orangeness unfortunately

it's so amazing when the sky turns those intense, "unlikely" colours. i've been in those conditions but never gotten decent photos. yours are just wonderful!

Thank you. Before this plum color it was all orange! I couldn't capture that at all and I'm still sad about it. It was unearthly.
