Here's what the sky was doing while it was painting the world purple

After an afternoon of thunderstorms the sky turned some wild colors this evening. The whole world was tinted this plum color for a short time, though it was very hard to capture.

I get a lavender sky at sunset sometimes but the camera just can’t catch it.
