My first summer living in Chicago in an apartment without AC, I was blessed to be a few blocks away from the Music Box, which is our great vintage rep theater. I could see a matinee or two for a couple bucks (1980s dollars) and stay cool. Didn't much care what the film was some days.

But that is the reason I was on the Steve Buscemi bandwagon early, because that was the summer that "Parting Glances" was at the Music Box and I fell in love with him. Which has continued to this day.

Finally getting around to The Expanse while laying directly in front of a portable AC unit, which can at least keep the living room under 80.

space is nice and cold just concentrate on outer space

can we stay home to go to the movies? I'd prefer that option
