Lots of people I like are sending horrific abuse to someone else I like because they have a different opinion to them.
It's making me sad. I thought this was supposed to be a better place.
I guess it was bound to happen once open sign-ups began. The saving grace is that the block and mute systems here seem to be well implemented and holding up pretty well so far, from what I've seen.
It's depressing over there, if I post something then I'll suddenly get people liking it or following me who have lots of numbers after their name and are following thousands of others.
Considering the maturity of the platform, I think they've done incredibly well to get this far this fast.
It's still a million times better than Xitter IMHO
It'll come, unless of course there's a way round it. I think the video via YouTube is good as it supports those creators and probably saves BS a huge amount of server space.
