It's Keith David's birthday. No joke or anything like that in this post, it's just a day you should honour. Go watch The Thing, in celebration

Or episodes of Gargoyles and Community. Honestly, he is great in everything.

I was just thinking that if you're gonna watch one Carpenter film with Keith in it you might as well make it a double feature. 😁

He was the best thing in that Charlie Sheen/Emilio Estevez movie. And he was SPAWN.
Avatar
MEN AT WORK was the title, iirc. As opposed to DIRTY WORK, which had the late great Norm McDonald in it
Avatar
I think that's it! Thanks 😃

I came here for this.

And if you play video games, Destiny 2: The Final Shape(out today!) has him taking over the role of Commander Zavala from the late great Lance Reddick.
Avatar
Good choice. He’s the only actor I could conceivably imagine living up to Reddick

The animated Spawn series!

A strong choice. Follow your heart on Keith David day

and pitch black/chronicles of riddick. princess and the frog. Coraline. he's so good in everything!!

Or They Live. Or The Princess and the Frog. Or any of the many TV shows he's in or lends his voice to like Gargoyles, Amphibia
Avatar
He makes everything better!
Avatar
He really does! Also thank you for being one of the few comments that haven't added all the other stuff he's been in like I didn't know xD
Avatar
any time you get to see Keith David act instead of just hearing him narrate is a delight
Avatar
Yes watch The Thing it is *excellent*.
Avatar
He's the voice of Zavala as well, so I'm going to be playing Destiny when I get home.
Avatar
He's the voice of everything good. From mass effect to halo to Hazbin all of it. I just picked my favourite movie
Avatar
Your pick is a truly great one.
Avatar
As are yours! Keith David day is a success!

As a massive Halo series fan, he’ll always be the Arbiter to me. He makes every project he’s in better by his presence.
Avatar
I was always more interested in The Arbiter than John. Not to say Johns story wasn't interesting I just enjoyed the Arbiters parts more
Avatar
I love him as a documentary narrator, too. He did a great job on several Ken Burns docs and various NatGeo/History Channel things
Avatar
I observe by just reading your post in his voice.
Avatar
Or just have a sit down. 🥲
Avatar
Or play Mass Effect or Saints Row 4.

I'm 34 and I started my first real playthrough of mass effect 4 days ago. A long time coming. I have the legendary edition and I've already put Anderson on the council
