i am dangerously close to running out of money again so comms will be reopening tonight. i've done the maths and i just don't have enough to last me until i get a bursary payment in three weeks' time... i wanted to get through my current batch first but i just don't have a choice

in the space of a few hours i've gone from moping at my desk to sobbing in bed. the thoughts of Not Wanting To Be Here, putting it euphemistically, have sneaked in and they've sneaked in fast. i feel so worthless and pathetic

We report: it still smells like the rain from this afternoon, but also like the sunshine that came after, and the chilly twilight wind. There are crickets, sparrows, and bats in the fields. It is busier than ever in the blue light. All the things that are happening all the time.

i don't know why but i've not been able to.. DO anything today. i've just been sleeping and staring at my tablet and my textbooks while they stare back. i just feel so out of energy, bordering on burnt out

^_^ i make a lot of bright colorful stuff these days, ive gotten a lot better abt not thinking abt my art too much! these r all in colored pencil

i'm feeling an impending art block..... i'm working on comms and stuff, which is fine because i'm essentially being told what to draw, but when the time comes to draw something for myself, or something for artfight, i just end up staring at an empty canvas for god knows how long 💀

We report: while it was raining earlier, it was much harder to imagine the type of cloud that was above our heads, by virtue of it being above our heads. Now that it has moved away, it looks even bigger with the way it rises into the atmosphere. It is still raining, somehow.

i have the cutest idea for a painting but i think it falls solidly into 'can picture it but can't draw it' territory. or perhaps 'could draw it but not do it justice.' ouuhhggh
