They’ve been talking about this for a while. If we can have a Cat 5 at the turn of the month June/July it makes sense we need a higher category for the much stronger storms we’ll see in August/September some years.

I think from memory a few of the very biggest ones would, depending a bit on exactly where they put the cut-off.

yeah windspeed of course and so scary to see Beryl and thank god we have such advance prep so people can shelter and therefore relatively few deaths
