I like the "kids are losing interest in our action figures; let's include coins. kids love coins" thinking of 1985 in Star Wars. "... what if we included stamps?"

Meanwhile, further down the aisle, Hasbro has swivel arm battle grip, robots turning into trucks, and Mattel has Man-E-Faces. Poor Lumat and Romba never stood a chance.

I so greatly appreciated the pivot away from insanely muscular figures with non canon weapons to more screen accurate figures The detail of the prequel figures made me so happy

We never got to the giant playtest stage. USS Flagg sized Star Destroyer or Death Star would have been great.

Stinkor with the never fading skunk smell was mind blowing to me as a kid. Like how they get the smell to never leave?

My 2.5 year old is absolutely obsessed with the Ewoks cartoon and out of curiosity I looked up the toys on eBay to see what was available to kids then. The coins caught me off guard. (2.5's favorite character is Teebo, btw)
