Oh hey tech firms what’s up, I found the miracle solution: throw this unwanted AI shit into the fucking trash where it belongs

The first part isn’t really an option, tho some power producers are partnering with tech companies to fund new projects that will power data centers.

Tech companies can’t do project development and finance in-house.

Could we, say, create a national trust that could be structured to functionally achieve the same outcome?

It's not even doing minor admin task! If AI would do my bookkeeping and file my taxes (correctly), we would be having a very different conversation!

Or you could just implement a carbon tax and skip the drama.

Like everything, AI can be used for good things and bad things. Good thing: AI can help oncologists tovmake the right diagnosis faster, which literally saves lives. Bad thing: AI stealing peoples art to make something that is not real art without paying the original artists. It happens both.
