Force companies to build their own renewable power sources for AI, then when the industry collapses, nationalize the power sourcesOh hey tech firms what’s up, I found the miracle solution: throw this unwanted AI shit into the fucking trash where it belongs The first part isn’t really an option, tho some power producers are partnering with tech companies to fund new projects that will power data centers. Tech companies can’t do project development and finance in-house. Could we, say, create a national trust that could be structured to functionally achieve the same outcome? Dude idk that’s beyond my purview but sounds nice! Desperately trying to keep working on my dissertation and not dive down this rabbit hole...
