Me too. We kept our old oil tank and radiators as a backup (as recommended by the installers) over the winter and realized we don't need them. Going to have them removed this Spring.

No problem with + 23 C inside when it was - 23 outside. Of course, the thermal efficiency is reduced at low outside temp, but it works. (Models sold in Norway is designed for low temp, of course). Usually we use a woodburning stove in addition when that cold, but tested without. No problem.
I was going to say that exact comment! We had one major failure, but it was fixed under warranty. We added the heat pump to cover the upper floors, now wish we had replaced the basement furnace instead of paying to relocate it during the foundation repairs

I feel badly about this. We had a combo air conditioner/gas furnace replaced last year. We weren't even offered an option to switch to heat pump, but I should have asked if it was possible for me.
