Spending July 4th in a giant empty DC office building like a psychopath The plan is to watch the fireworks from the top floor, so its not completely without purpose. It doesn’t start to get dark for 6 hours, you freak. Actually, that’s a pretty good reason. I’m really lucky that I can see the fireworks from Dupont Circle (the actual circle), so it’s just a very short walk.
