In one of his most bizarre interviews in recent memory, Trump insisted abortion is “not that big of an issue,” claimed Republicans are the “party of fertilization” and said every legal scholar in the world supported overturning Roe v. Wade. www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-...
Trump declares the GOP is the “party of fertilization" in an apparent attempt to argue that Republicans have been here protecting women's access to IVF.
But not only is that false, he lost his point completely in this indecipherable word salad:
Side note: It makes sense to me, anyway. Back in '14 or so, I often referred to him as the SEO candidate: says anything about virtually any topic and lo and behold, his name would be associated with it in a search.
I suppose the GOP being the “party of fertilization” is technically correct. Going around making sure women are fertilized whether they like it or not.
But they're also promoters of infertility, not only by banning IVF but by banning the clinics that do most miscarriage care from doing business in their states, or from doing the miscarriage care operations, sometimes even requiring they wait until the woman's life is in danger.
If you’re looking for some sort of ideological consistency within the GOP platform, it’d probably be easier to gouge your own eyes out and be done with it.
“Reproductive freedom to me is just like a story I know called the puppy who lost his way. The world was changing, and the puppy was getting bigger… Except that the puppy was a dog, but the abortion my friends, that was a fertilization. Knibb High football rules!”
That word mush - my uniformed intellectuals - is the a MAGA minds favorite food. Devoid of content or coherence - it's a tone poem of stupid. Comforting noise that they know means nothing - but sucks up a few useless hours in their day.
