MN was able to address this with the Minnesota Insulin Safety Net Program. Alec Smith was a 26 year old diabetic who died rationing his insulin. His parents and Rep. Mike Howard worked tirelessly to create this program, where insulin users can get a 90 day supply for just $50.

My hottest tech take is that what big tech has actually succeeded at more than anything is a complete outsourcing of any and all responsibility for their actions. They've succeeded at building wildly irresponsible tools that get used in wildly irresponsible ways and nobody in power seems to care.

One of the highlights of being an adult is being able to just buy the food you want. Like yes, I do want to buy the Kraft spirals mac and cheese instead of the off brand and eat them at 10:30 PM.

So what does voting "uncommitted" mean, in a practical sense, in the presidential primary? Looking over my ballot and noticed that was an option.

My haters and rivals are stuck in traffic trying to park at the Christmas market. Meanwhile, I zoom past them, taking the bus home with the free ticket the Christmas market gives out.

I'm definitely not a vexillology expert but I think one of the strongest points F1953 makes is it would make an excellent pride flag, ala Puerto Rico's pride flag. I'm terrible with photoshop, but I'm sure someone could make this with the progress pride flag colors too.

You know you're using small town micro transit when the driver asks if you need a return trip so he can plan his lunch break.

The election you should be focusing on takes place on Tuesday. You can probably vote for the school board, the library board, maybe sheriff, local officials and offices that shape your community. Do you have a plan to vote?

Can SEPTA become a real transit agency? Rail service to the airport is only hourly on weekends, and they cancelled the run I was planning on taking so I'm now waiting an additional hour at 30th Street.

Woke up still so mad about this. I don’t have another $500 to drop on a bike for a kid who just wants to ride bikes with his brother on the trails, and around the neighborhood with his friends. He wanted to try winter riding to his bus stop to school. And he can’t, because some jerk stole his bike.
