I feel like it has way better wildlife watching than Yellowstone. I need to get back there.
We saw moose and a fox in the Tetons. Bison, pronghorns, elk, and coyotes in Yellowstone. I was only out there for a week so lots of running around!
I’d worry if you saw moose and squirrel.
I saw Grizzly 399 and her cubs in the Tetons back in 2017. We typically saw bears when we vacationed in Yellowstone back in the 70s and elk and pronghorn in the Tetons. Glad you’ve gotten such spectacular photos on your trip!
That's great you were able to see 399! From what I understand, it's more common to see bears in the spring.

Thanks! We were thinking about leaving earlier because there was a pancake of low clouds on the western horizon. So happy the clouds cooperated!
