I am embarrassed that I don't know who they are.

That would be the cast of one of the Sci-Fi Channel's first series, made in collaboration with Henson: Farscape.

I was obsessed, at the time. And though we fought for, & got, a miniseries to close things out, the premature cancelation of the show, on a CLIFFHANGER, messed me up.

I learned this week that James Gunn was a big fan & it was a big influence on the Guardians of the Galaxy. A thing I should have figured out when Ben Browder appeared in the 2nd one (with a fake British accent) as one of the Sovereign, but I didn't make the connection. I was just glad to see him. 🤷🏻‍♀️

OH!...this is farscape! I have heard of this. I am such a fan of so many Sci Fi channel things I am surprised I didn't know this.

It was early days, for Sci-Fi; it was still mostly old movies & syndicated reruns. Farscape & Lexx were first out of the gate. I imagine it will not surprise you to learn that I developed my obsession with it during the time I moved to Albany, after my breakup with my ex. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly I am just glad it was fucking there for you. You had talked about the Monkees being a thing? It was a total comfort thing for me during a rough time in my life. Like...funny to think about it now. I liked Peter Tork. lol.

Oh, the Monkees were a HUGE thing for me. At age 12. Looking back on it... that would be right after my childhood best friend moved away. Never gave it much thought, but it was the first time I ever got REALLY into something. I started as a Davy fan, then transitioned to Micky as I got older.
