I’m sure this really won’t come across in the photo but the light was doing this weird thing where the sun was filtered through clouds in such a way that it looked like everything was indoors, to me. Anyway the eastern redcedar I rescued is doing great. Bonus phlox subulata to the left.

It’s baby oak time. Spotted this sapling growing out of the stairs I’ve been cutting into slope. Transplanted it to a big pot where I can keep an eye on it for now.
