my least favorite take of the day is: it is bad for media outlets to report on low public awareness/public misconceptions on issues because if the media only tried harder it could entirely solve the problems of disengaged electorates and of affective polarization impacting views of the economy/crime

The fundamental problem with believing that the primary calendar change will hurt Biden is it requires me to believe at least one of these things 1. Democratic Primary voters who care will defect. 2. Non-primary voters care about this issue in a choice motivating way. Just doesn't compute
