Look, I don't like Nikki Haley and definitely won't vote for her over Biden. But if her winning the primary means a much higher chance of Biden losing, I'd still take it, because she's not going to try to abolish democracy.
FTR the polling does not support her being more likely to win. The opposite, in fact. But still, I'd much rather an election where I didn't have to worry about the death of the representative democracy.
Hell, she even seems the least likely to steer foreign policy straight at the rocks.
I do not want a Nikki Haley presidency, but the prospect of one clears the infinitely low bar of "seems survivable".
Trump will have the GOP nom sewn up after Super Tuesday. He's who the GOP/Q base wants & they're who shows up to vote in primaries. The GOP dark-money donors are sending lining up to bend the knee again.
