Recognizing that everything is political doesn’t mean you have to be more political about everything. Lotta times it just means you have to be kind & caring to others even when no one else is watching.
Man I was cranky and hungry and in line for an hour at Sea Salt but I had a beer and a sweet conversation with a dude from a semi famous punk band and I still haven’t eaten but feel a ton better.

This reminds me that if you don’t enjoy campaign work but do enjoy kids, you can and should volunteer to babysit for your activist friends. It’s as valuable a contribution to the cause as anything.
For pure awesomeness & satisfaction, I doubt anything beats what a bear feels when catching a jumping salmon out of a stream. That’s gotta feel amazing.

Have you ever seen the greatest rainbow of your life? I just saw the greatest rainbow of my life! It was huge, and bright, double, horizon to horizon, for more than a half hour right in front of us. I am so happy for me.
