The overall numbers don't matter. What matters is that this is the ONLY issue for enough potential Democratic voters to swing the race. And Biden's team, which has been doing this since the dawn of time and is allergic to accepting that there are things it doesn't get, really needs to get it. x

As a soon to be alum of this school, weird to try and square sending all that money to a place that hires brilliant, brave people like Alatout with a chancellor who is like, yes, cops come on in and put a knee in his back

Worth adding that Alatout is great, I very almost did a PhD with him before fleeing academia, and his entire work is about water rights, borders, migration, and state-building projects. Which, T O P I C A L

It's me here to complain about L'Enfant Plaza again: if the government is going to make us go into the office they had better be pouring money into metro infrastructure improvements because this rush hour single platform single tracking bullshit is for the birds.

I have no idea what exit to use at L'Enfant Plaza and it's like 30% of the reason I prefer biking to work.

Hundreds of Beavers is such a trip. Hand-drawn animation! Practical effects! Vaudevillian slapstick! Sight gags at a ZAZ-like pace! Almost no dialogue at all! And yes, hundreds of beavers!
