I... don't understand why shooting Jesus the day before he would be executed anyway would make any difference? Like, I don't expect a lot of coherency from Christian movies, but this seems particularly theologically confused.

I can’t get over the Scrooge detail. The absolute reach for a literary reference only to interpret in the wrongest way possible. It’s as if she were watching Murder on the Orient Express and said “Only one person can commit a murder, Poirot”
