the SECOND time ken has given me covid. yay i am so happy!!!!! very cool that i will have to miss the monthly karting event on sunday. how does paxlovid work should i be calling my doctor for it? no clue what is good for covid care thesis days

call your doctor for paxlovid and if they can’t help you can probably get a prescription through an urgent care
it has been helpful for us including when my wife got it very recently
fwiw i’ve had covid five or six times
now (😬) and im team paxlovid all the way. this past time i was barely positive, the line was almost invisible, and i still got on it. no major complaints (the taste is a thing but i find it easily bearable)
if you have a pcp you should be able to call them and tell them you tested positive and they’ll take care of it from there, that’s the way i did it both times. a pharmacist can also prescribe it directly though they tend to charge another $50 or so for the pleasure

The criteria used to be "uninsured or can't reach a provider within 24 hours". Anecdotally they are just a paxlovid prescribing machine.
